Ph.d. in statistics, University of Copenhagen 1974.
Assistent (later associate)
professor at Institute of Mathematical Statistics, University of Copenhagen
1969-96.
Chairman of dept. 1983-86.
Chairman of The Danish
Society for Theoretical Statistics 1984-86.
From 1996 professor at Copenhagen Business School, The

My research interests during the years have developed from the foundations of
probability and statistics, via applied statistics, design of experiments,
variance component models and other statistical models to statistical computing
and problems related to applications in business and management. The hot topics
during the years at CBS have been
At University of Copenhagen, I have given courses for statistics students on
advanced probability, analysis of variance, generalised linear and related
models, applied statistics, Markov chain Monte Carlo and general asymptotic
theory. At Copenhagen Business School I have been lecturing for the
mathematics-economics
students on a graduate course on basic statistics and probability and a
post-graduate course on the applications of statistics to business and
management.
